We spent hours picking them, decorating them and setting them in just the right spot on our front porch. Now, less than 24 hours after Halloween has ended and my Jackson-o-laterns look like eye sores.

Of course, I’m considering taking a different approach and staying “on trend” by celebrating Halloween all year long. Finally, friends who live on and around Chicago can stay in the Halloween spirit this weekend at Chicago’s Redmoon Theatre’s Skelebration . The avant-garde theatre is hosting this family friendly event encourages a “come and explore” attitude as kids are invited to interact with young live musicians, to play in Redmoon’s build masks and shadow puppets and perform in Redmoon’s giant shadow world.
