Sunny energy bursts from the Bari Koral Family Rock Band’s new album “The Apple Tree & The Honey Bee.” This is the fourth album from the popular family musician and leader in the “yoga for kids” movement, and Koral and friends deliver a sunny, skipping fun adventure that is not only terrific for the ears, but also has the somewhat hidden agenda of getting kids to move and be active.
The album features songs ranging from a so very Go-Go’s vibe in “Dancing Bear” to a light and earthy “When I’m Five” and the funny, pop-infused “Yes & No.”
Koral has created yoga poses to go along with “Dancing Bear” — you can see them on her website barikoral.com/kidsyoga.html
Standouts on this album include “Fall Down”—an upbeat tune with country flair about persevering and being a good friend, and “Birthday”—a bright pop celebration of well, you know, every kids’ favorite time of the year.
