Happy Halloween! to celebrate this festive holiday I stopped by WCIU TV ~ You and Me this Morning to share some super easy last minute treats you can scare up during Halloween or anytime you just want to have some spooky fun!
Thank you to my favorite Svengirlies Jeanne and Melissa for inviting me on the show.
In other news, it was JRB’s Halloween Party and I was in charge of the class’ service project. We decided to team up with Operation Gratitude to collect Halloween Candy and send it to our troops. The kids also made cards thanking our troops for their bravery and service. In an ironic twist, one of the parents was in the middle East 20 years ago and told the kids he remembered getting cards and candy from kids during the holiday. He said it was one of the few highlights he had during his tour. It was really a wonderful reminder that we can really make a difference in the lives of others. Speaking of which, I am starting to come up with ideas for projects and activities families can do together to give back to the community this holiday season. Do you have a project to recommend? let me know. In the meantime! Happy Post-Halloween! xo
