Long time musician Bill Harley has done it again with his Grammy nominated album “High Dive and Other Things That Could Have Happened”. For families looking for a nice breather from your regular musical routine, look no further — Harley entertains with his simple guitar compositions and fabulous storytelling. In my pre-kid days I was a huge fan of the fabulous singer/songwriter David Wilcox, and as I listen to this album I am transported back to those days—Harley is all that wonderful goodness made over for the kid scene.
A stand out on this album is the title track “High Dive” — this is a bang for your buck song at 11:50 minutes, a hilarious ode to taking a chance at the public pool, first crushes and absolute embarrassment for going for it.
